The Petersburg Fire started July 1, 2018 at 2:45 p.m. Current size is at 215 acres. Location is three miles south of Petersburg station. Crews have installed a hose lay around the fire and are continuing to mop up and secure the fire line. There is minimal smoke coming from the Petersburg Fire. Containment is now at 90%. At 0700 tomorrow the Petersburg Fire will transition from a Type 3 to a Tpye 4-Isbell IC
