Firefighters assigned to the Judd Fire have the fire 100% contained and controlled. The fire started Thursday, June 7th, when a dry lightning system moved through that area. The 4200-acre fire burned through scrub oak, brush and grass on Mule Mountain just 2 1/2 miles north of Bisbee.
One engine will remain assigned and patrol the fire over the next few days.
