The Castle Fire was first reported Saturday, April 14, around 10 a.m. and is located in the Smoke Hole area of Grant County about 8 miles southwest of Petersburg on Monongahela National Forest. The fire is out as of May 8 at 3 p.m. The cause of the Castle Fire is under investigation by the USDA Forest Service Law Enforcement and Investigations.
