The Bridge Fire burning just north of the Pit River Bridge near Shasta Lake and Interstate 5

The Bridge Fire was reported at 11:22 a.m. on Tuesday October 31, 2017. It began as a semi-truck fire along Interstate-5 just north of the Pit River Bridge on Shasta Lake. The fire is now 100% contained

A semi-truck carrying hay and travelling southbound on Interstate-5 caught fire when it passed by the Bridge Fire, and after it passed over the Pit River Bridge became fully engulfed on the south side of the bridge causing a secondary fire.
