Moderate rains with isolated downpours occurred last night with passing moderate to heavy showers today. Rainfall totals over the fire area were 0.75 to 1.25 inches through the afternoon. Strong southwest winds at the ridge tops occasionally worked down into the canyons and lower elevations bringing gusty winds. The Hoodoo IRAWS recorded the strongest gust at 51 mph. Widespread moderate to heavy rains are expected tonight along with continued strong SW winds as an upper low move over the area from the NW.
