#RouseFire burns 10-15 acres along Hwy 74 in HemetImage options: [ Full Size ]

The Rouse Fire was reported at 1:15 PM on August 30, 2017, on the north side of State Hwy. 74 near the junction with Bee Canyon Road. Spot fires from the first fire ignited brush on the south side of Hwy 74, and easterly winds pushed the fire west toward Forest Road 5S15 (Rouse Ridge Road) The fire was mapped at 14 acres and is 100 percent contained. The cause of the fire remainds under investigation. Hwy 74 is open to all traffic in both directions.
