Incident Overview

Firefighters from the US Forest Service, CAL FIRE, San Bernardino County Fire, and local municipalities are fighting the Mile Fire, reported east of Highway 18 near Waterman Canyon. Fire is currently 100 acres and holding. An estimated 160 firefighters are working to suppress this fire, including ground and air resources.

Road and Highway Closures: Old Waterman Canyon Rd

Injuries: 3 Forest Service and 6 Other Agency, all heat related. All Patients transported

Evacuations: None at this time.

Drones: While there has been no drone activity over the fire, drones interfere with firefighting efforts. Anyone who hampers firefighting efforts could face criminal charges as well.
