The Farad Fire started at around 1:00 p.m. on July 10 north of Interstate 80, approximately one mile west of the Sierra County line near Verdi, NV. Currently, the fire is 100% contained and in patrol status for two more weeks. Fire is estimated to be 100% controlled by the weekend of Aug 5.
