Incident Overview

Kaibab National Forest and Grand Canyon National Park fire resources are working the Rain Wildfire southwest of Grand Canyon Airport on the Tusayan Ranger District. The Rain fire is 154 acres in size and is being suppressed by aerial and ground firefighting resources. The wildfire is currently being mopped up and is producing minimal smoke. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
