The fire was controlled at 41,432 acres on October 10, 2016.
The fire was declared completely extinguished on November 7, 2016. Isolated areas of unburned fuel within the interior of the fireline have been saturated by recent rainfall. Some areas may be affected by post-fire debris flow. Check USGS web for more information.



Angeles National Forest Closure: An area, road, and trail closure is in effect
(Forest Closure Order 01-16-05). The Pacific Crest Trail is closed where it passes through the area closure.

Road Closures: Los Angeles County Department of Public Works has closed a section of Sand Canyon Road and Little Tujunga Canyon Road to through traffic. Visit the Department of Public Works' road closures webpage for a map and the most up-to-date information.
