Boise, ID – The fire is contained. On Saturday, July 23rd, hotshot crews finalized line construction from Lucky Peak summit, towards the high bridge at Lucky Peak Reservoir. On Sunday, July 24, firefighters safely completed 100% of fire line construction on the Mile Marker 14 Fire. Firefighters continued to mop up hot spots and secure the fire line through Monday, July 25th when call fire resources were released.

Due to high temperatures and dry, windy conditions fire managers will continue to monitor the fire daily for potential "sleeper" smokes.

Currently there are no area closures.
