This lightning caused fire was reported on Friday, July 15th. It stayed small in size for several days before growing considerably from an estimated 275 acres on July 17th to over 19,000 acres on July 21st. The majority of smoke is being produced by smoldering materials on the southwest edge and isolated pockets of unburned interior fuels. Fire personnel will continue to monitor.

Temporary Flight Restriction has been lifted for the fire area.
