Oregon Department of Forestry Incident Management Team 1 (Incident Commander John Buckman) assumed command (from the South Central Oregon Interagency Team; Incident Commander Leyland Hunter) of the Bryant Fire at 6 p.m. PDT on Friday, June 20, 2014. The fire was reported at approximately 1:30 p.m. PDT on Thursday, June 19, 2014, burning in timber on private forestlands protected by the Oregon Department of Forestry's Klamath-Lake District six miles south of the community of Bonanza (approximately 27 miles east-southeast of Klamath Falls).
NOTE: The IMT transitioned the Bryant Fire back to the ODF Klamath-Lake District on Thursday, June 26, 2014. There will be no further updates to this site.
