The ICP will be moving to the Soldotna Sportscenter effective 0700 June 6, 2014 under the command of Type 3 Incident Commander Tim Soliday. Our Type 2 Team is demobilizing, packing up our tents and heading home tomorrow for a rest before the next Alaska fire.

Significant Events

Control efforts and lowered fire behavior indices limited fire behavior to isolated torching and smoldering throughout the

burn period.

Div A No Smokes observed. Monitor status. Repair group started some interior line repair.

Div B No Smokes observed. Monitor Status.

Div C Crews remain spiked at Div C East and West spike camp. Crews gridded and mopped up interior islands.

Div G Monitor status. Management Action Points (MAP) established for structures. Structure protection and plan in place

for division G at numerous sites.

Div H No Smokes observed. Monitor status.

Div M No Smokes observed. Monitor status.

Div X No Smokes observed. Monitor status.



A light marine layer is moving into the area Thursday through Saturday with increasing humidity's and dew points. Chance of isolate showers over the western edge of the fire.
