Incident Overview

Summary for Barlow Fire: The Barlow fire is located 30 miles NE of San Carlos, off the main Route 8 road. It started on May 17, 2014. Jere Classay Type 4 IC will transition to local type 5 IC this evening. GPS areage of the burned area is 1,482 acres with 100% containment. All areas are looking good with operations winding down and various resources being demobilized. The strategy is to monitor the smoke. This is the final update.
