Current Status: The South Fork Fire was reported on Monday November 18 2013. This fire was located fourteen miles north of Luray VA. It was north of Habron Gap south of Indian Grave Ridge and west of State Roads 684 and 717 in both Page and Shenandoah Counties.

Date and Cause Reported: The fire was reported on Monday November 18 2013 at 3:00 pm. The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation.

Cooperators: Virginia Department of Forestry; Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries; Shenandoah County Fire and Rescue; Page County Fire and Rescue; Shenandoah National Park; Bureau of Indian Affairs; and US Fish and Wildlife Service.
