The Pony Complex is now 100% contained. Demobilization of all remaining resources is expected to occur on Tuesday 8/20. Areas of the fire well inside containment lines may to continue to smolder in the coming days, but will not cause any additional growth to the perimeter.

An area closure remains in place for parts of the Pony Complex due to the Elk Complex to the north. See the Inciweb page for that incident or contact the Boise National Forest for more information.
