The Summit Fire in Boise County is 100 percent contained. It burned approximately 370 acres in Boise County, about 14 miles northeast of Idaho City and 4 miles north of Pilot Peak, or 8 miles southwest of Lowman.

The fire currently is still being monitored by aviation resources.

Lightning started the Summit Fire on Tuesday evening, July 16, and strong winds spread the flames quickly.
