Incident Overview

On 02/18/2013 at 1400 hours, NATR Fire Crew at Ridgeland responded to a report of a wildland fire at Milepost 114.7 on east side for the Parkway. NATR Engine 670 arrived on scene at 1500 hours and tied in with the Gluckstadt Volunteer Fire Department who was already on scene. At 1530 hours, hand lines were installed and at 1600 hours a small burn out operation was started and completed at 1645 hours. The fire was called contained at 1920 hours and called controlled on 02/19/2013 at 0925 hours. The Old Hickory fire was declared out on 02/20/13 at a total of 3.3 acres. The Old Hickory fire was caused by a downed power line.
