News Release September 8, 2022 Davenport, WA - The Seven Bays Fire is located approximately 15 miles northwest of Davenport, WA. This fire started on Sunday, September 4th and has burned approximately 1,175 acres of rangeland, stubble and scattered forest lands, acreage increase is due to updated mapping not fire growth. The fire is 25% contained.
 Evacuations: No Evacuation levels.

 Road Closure:  No Road Closures.

  Wednesday,   The predicted high winds did impact the fire in the afternoon.  Fire fighters were able to mop up critical areas 25 feet in before the afternoon winds arrived.  By the end of shift fire fighters had completed 25 feet mop up around the fire perimeter. 

 Thursday, Firefighter’s will continue mop up around the fire perimeter.

 Weather:   Thursday weather is predicted high of 81 degrees, with winds (20ft) out of the northwest 5 – 10 mph with gusts to 20 mph in the afternoon.,
