Cause: Unknown, human caused

Burkburnett Task Force from Texas A&M Forest Service continued to patrol and mop up fire throughout the day until no smoke was showing. By 3:00PM the fire was 100% contained and Texas A&M Forest Service handed the fire back to local responders and have all cleared the scene.
