Fire
The Cedar Creek Fire in Central Oregon is 33,099 acres with 12% containment. The fire grew 1,613 acres over the past 24 hours. We are expecting very active fire activity today, with hotter temperatures, strong east winds and low relative humidity values.

Smoke
Areas west of the Cedar Creek fire will have the greatest impacts today, including Oakridge and the Eugene/Springfield area. Oakridge will see USG to unhealthy air quality today, with periods of very unhealthy possible. The Eugene/Springfield area will see decreasing air quality through the afternoon hours, as the east winds bring smoke into the area.
