 Yesterday’s Operations: Firefighters patrolled and monitored the fire perimeter to ensure it stayed within constructed containment lines. Red Flag Warning weather brought gusts up to 38 mph at the highest elevation.  Some interior islands of unburned fuels burned well but containment lines were not challenged. Although a thunderstorm was predicted over the fire, no measurable rain fell.
 Yesterday’s Operations: Firefighters patrolled and monitored the fire perimeter to ensure it stayed within constructed containment lines. The GYA Type 3 Incident Management Team (IMT) conducted a comprehensive transition brief to in-coming IMT. Today’s Operations:  Firefighters will patrol and monitor the fire perimeter to ensure it stays within constructed containment lines.  Firefighters will also begin working on the suppression/repair phase.
 Yesterday’s Operations:  Firefighters patrolled and monitored the fire perimeter to ensure it stayed within constructed containment lines. Wednesday’s weather was not favorable for active burning. Some single trees torched but no spot fires resulted from this.

Yesterday’s Operations:  Firefighters strengthened and mopped up along   existing containment lines.  In the early afternoon, fire activity picked up due to warm temperature, low relative humidity and moderate winds.  This produced a lot of smoke which was visible for miles.
