This wildfire was discovered on Sunday, October 9th, 2022. The fire cause has been determined to be lightning.  The fire has been in monitor status by the local district.  The local district started suppression efforts on October 28th, and the fire is expected to be contained on October 31.  The final incident size is expected to be 324 acres.
