The official estimate of the fire acreage was revised from 400 acres to 274 due to more precise mapping.


Crystal Lake Recreation Area remains threatened. Crystal Lake rec area remains evacuated and closed.
Highway 39 is closed at East Fork, but open to residents.

HWY 39 is closed north of the East Fork Rd. Residents only will be allowed in south of that closure. Campgrounds and recreation activities in the area have been evacuated. The fire currently is burning into the Forest away from the homes and communities located at the base of the canyon. No homes threatened.
