The Type 4 organization assumed command of the Johnson Bar fire on 9/30, fire camp is at the Johnson Bar Campground.
The public should be advised of the potential for falling snags along roads and river corridors (Selway & Clearwater) that have been affected by the fire. The Selway River Road (Road #223) is OPEN. Johnson Bar Campground is partially open. All campgrounds upriver from O’Hara Campground are OPEN to the public.
- O’Hara Campground is closed for the season.O’Hara Road #651 is closed from the O’Hara Bridge to Road #1129. Road #1129 is closed from Road #286 to Road #651.
Current status of past closures
· Roads #1119, #1119A, #9723, #9723B, #9701 and Trails #706, #712 and #716 are now open as of October 6th 2014.
- Road 653 is open from the junction of the 286 and the 653 west to the junction of the 653 and the 470.Swiftwater Road #470 is now open from the Swiftwater Bridge to Road #286.Johnson Bar Campground is partially open.

Special Concerns: Traffic along Selway River Road may encounter hazard trees and snags in the fire area both along roadways and the Selway River banks.
