The Snag Canyon Fire will transition to a Type 4 incident with the DNR Southeast Region assuming command on Thursday at 0600. Rehab of containment and contingency lines is ongoing and will continue over the next week. The fire is at 100% containment. Most fire suppression crews will be demobilized today.

Grass(FM2), brush(FM5)and Timber Litter(FM10). There are areas of bug kill timber stands mainly in DIV D and DIV G. Additional fuel loading of landing piles and slash piles located in DIV M.

Crews will continue to mop up and patrol. Rehabilitation will be completed as opportunity allows. Initial attack resources will assist with any new starts if requested by the host agency.
