The Modoc July Complex is comprised of 15 fires on the Modoc National Forest, scattered throughout the Big Valley, Doublehead and Devil's Garden Ranger Districts. The Complex is under the command of the Northern California Interagency Incident Management Team 2 (NorCal Team 2).

On Wednesday, July 9th at 6:00 a.m. Norcal Team 2 will transfer command of the fire back to the Modoc NF to be managed by local resources. This will be the final update for the Gulch Fire by Norcal Team 2. Fire information will continue to be available through the Modoc National Forest.
