The State Fire transitioned to a local Type 3 Team, led by Incident Commander Wade Christopherson, at 6:00 a.m. Monday, August 19. Firefighters will continue to mop up interior hot spots and begin rehab efforts.

Interior burning is still a concern but not a direct threat to containment lines. Thunderstorms produced lightning near the fire. Additional demob of resources is ongoing.
