Emergency stabilization treatments have begun downstream from the Jaroso burn scar. Sandbagging is complete around the Panchuela campground and wellhead to protect against possible flooding. Hazard signs warning of possible flooding are being installed in Pecos Canyon. Woody debris will be removed from 1.5 miles of stream near Panchuela campground and within Jack’s Creek to minimize the potential for burn scar debris to clog culverts and bridges. Storm patrol is ongoing.
