Long Draw Fire Operational Objectives

Minimize acres burned:

  • - Hold and patrol established containment lines around the perimeter of the incident and around large unburned islands interior to the fire perimeter
  • - Be prepared for, and respond to, any request for assistance with initial attack from the local unit

Reduce the impacts of suppression actions through implementation of the suppression rehabilitation plan as fire activity allows.
