 News Release September 9, 2022

 Davenport, WA - The Seven Bays Fire is located approximately 15 miles northwest of Davenport, WA. This fire started on Sunday, September 4th and has burned approximately 1,175 acres of rangeland, stubble and scattered forest lands. The fire is 40% contained.
   Evacuations: No Evacuation levels.

 Road Closure:  No Road Closures.

 Thursday,   Fire fighters worked on mop up along a 75 feet perimeter around the fire edge.  This increased fire containment to 40%.

 Friday, Firefighter’s will continue mop up around the fire perimeter and begin repairing interior dozer lines.  Demob of a few resources will begin today.

 Weather:   Friday weather is predicted high of 79 degrees, with winds (20ft) out of the northeast and the east 6 - 11 mph with gusts to 15 mph in the afternoon.,
